Sunday Funday

While the weekend isn’t over yet, this morning felt like a nice wrap up to the weekend with some yoga on the mall with Addy. It was a celebration at the end of DC Yoga Week and and it was a lot of fun. There were over a 1,000 people at Constitution Gardens on the mall for yoga this morning and the sun came out as well – hello spring! The program started with some yoga demonstrations by some local teachers. Then we did some quick partner work with our new friends we just met and then started with the practice. There were four instructors who led four different segments. Addy and I left before it ended but we did a good hour (maybe a bit more) practice before calling it a day. I actually knew most of the poses – miracle! – and it was a nice flow. All those people, music, sunshine and some yoga – what a great way to start the day!

We finished up at yoga, grabbed some KIND bars from the KIND ladies and rode on our bikes up to Dupont to eat lunch at Glenn’s. I had a massive sandwich, some chips and a gourmet Ginger Ale, plus some pretzel milk chocolate. It was a delicious (yet expensive!) lunch. Glenn’s has an awesome vibe and some really good products and I indulged a bit and bought some fancy mustard. Yum!

Off to do some Sunday prep for the week before I head out for a few margaritas to really end the weekend. I mean you can’t NOT have a margarita on Cinco de Mayo right? 😉

Better review my SIDI’s before I get hopped up on tequila…

Sunday – Free class at Sculpt DC
