Vermont…in pictures

Rewind to two weekends ago when Justin and I spent the weekend in Vermont for a wedding.  It was Justin’s first time in Vermont and I would argue it is one of the best times to travel there because the foliage is incredible.  It was a really easy trip direct from DCA and always nice to escape D.C. for a few short days.

We spent some time on the lake front in Burlington.

The wedding was about 30 minutes north of Burlington on South Hero Island, after exploring Burlington a bit and getting in some shopping, we drove to our bed and breakfast.

On Saturday before all the wedding festivities, it was raining a little bit, so our planned hike did not happen.  Instead we drove down I-89 for some Ben & Jerry’s and Cabot cheese or and of course the lovely leaves.

We got back to South Hero to get ready for the wedding at the Snow Farm Vineyard right down the street from our bed and breakfast.

The winery was beautiful and made the perfect back drop for photos!  Was so lovely to be in Vermont to celebrate Sarah and Chris on their wedding day.  Such a wonderful couple and I couldn’t be happier for them!

The Newlyweds!

Before we left town on Sunday morning, we got in a few more minutes on the lake front.  It was a chilly morning and definitely too cold for swimming, but the views were incredible.

I love you, Vermont and I’ll be back soon!
