A colorful run

Posted on October 12, 2012. Filed under: Uncategorized |

This is the time of year that it’s chilly enough out that you want to at least start your run in long sleeves, but typically get hot mid way through. It’s also the time of year that it’s dark whether you run in the morning or the evening.  So I busted out my long sleeve bright yellow reflective jacket last night to run in and paired it with my pink compression sleeves and I looked a little bit ridiculous.  Good news is, nobody hit me and I got a compliment on my socks from a group of college girls dressed up in what looked like 80’s attire.   Halfway through my run it finally dawned on me that none of those girls in the group were even born in the 80’s!!!

My run was great, mainly because I had so much adrenaline after watching Jayson Werth hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the 9th to force Game 5 for the Nationals tonight!

Vermont re-cap still coming – I finally uploaded my photos and then sent some to myself so I could post them on this blog!

I was in Burlington one week ago and had the summertime bbq chicken burrito from New World Tortilla.  And I want to go back and have one right NOW.

there are mashed potatoes in there!!
